Shipping & Insurance Policy

This policy covers shipping labels, tracking, delivery, local pickup, and insurance claims on item. It is incorporated into our Terms of Service. item is not a carrier, insurer, freight forwarder, warehouse, or delivery service.
Seller shipping obligations
Sellers are responsible for packaging items safely, selecting appropriate service levels, using accurate package weight and dimensions, shipping to the address provided through item, providing valid tracking, meeting handling timelines, and complying with carrier, Shippo, Stripe, export/import, hazardous material, and legal requirements. Sellers remain responsible even when item provides access to label tools.
Labels, voids, and tracking
Shipping labels may be generated through Shippo and the underlying carriers. Label prices, availability, tracking events, delivery estimates, surcharges, voids, address corrections, and service failures are controlled by Shippo and carriers. item may display tracking or label status but does not guarantee that scans, estimates, voids, refunds, or delivery events will be accurate, timely, or available.
Insurance and carrier claims
Some shipments may include carrier or third-party shipping insurance. Insurance is subject to the insurer, carrier, Shippo, and XCover terms, exclusions, deadlines, documentation requirements, and claim decisions. item does not guarantee claim eligibility, approval, timing, or payout amount. Sellers and buyers may be required to provide photos, packaging evidence, item value evidence, proof of damage or loss, written statements, and other documentation within required deadlines.
Claim payouts and refunds
If a claim payout is issued, item may apply it to reimburse a refund, chargeback, marketplace loss, negative balance, or other transaction-related amount before any remaining funds are released. Filing or tracking a claim does not limit item’s right to hold payouts, request evidence, resolve a dispute, issue or facilitate a refund, or take enforcement action under the Terms.
Local pickup
For local pickup, buyers and sellers are responsible for arranging a safe meetup, confirming the correct item, and completing any pickup confirmation process item provides. item does not supervise meetups, verify identity in person, or guarantee user conduct. Meet in public, well-lit places and avoid unsafe situations.
